Michael Remick​

Bay County Clerk of Court and Comptroller

Michael has worked in government with the Clerk of Court for just under three years. As Bay County Clerk of Court and Comptroller, he supervises a team of three employees whose daily tasks include implementation and enforcement of the 5% Tourist Development Tax. The office’s goal is to assist property rental owners and managers in Bay County in fulfilling their statutory responsibilities through collector education and voluntary compliance. Michael’s previous experience includes nonprofit work, four years as an auditor with a regional CPA firm, and extensive experience in the retail industry.
