GovOS was selected after a detailed evaluation of competing systems. The STR solution will identify rentals, manage communications, and handle tax collection to ensure compliance. Kent County expects the software to pay for itself once it is operational through increased tax collections. With a target go-live date of July 1, this move also involves updating local codes and establishing uniform regulations across municipalities.
