Austin, TX, December 29, 2022—GovOS, the leading provider of digital transformation solutions for local governments, today announced theOttawa County Recorder’s Office was the first in Ohio to launch the company’s Cloud Search solution. The Recorder’s Office recently made thousands of public land records available online via a digital platform. Now, with the implementation of GovOS Cloud Search, citizens have the ability to search those records 24/7.

“Our mission here was to provide constituents with a more efficient way to access the last 30 years’ worth of public county land records,” said Nathan Daniels, Ottawa County Recorder. “The new online system offers a convenient and centralized way to access documents recorded in our office and, with GovOS Cloud Search, citizens have the option to browse these records when they choose without having to come into our office. This is a big step in the county’s efforts to increase online services and one that aligns well with our commitment to providing the best possible service to the community.”

Using GovOS Cloud Search, citizens can search and view the county’s more than 340,000 land records dating back to 1993. Search results are easy to organize using the system’s built-in filters and sortable grids. Documents in Ottawa County’s online records database are viewable from any device with an internet connection.

“Detailed searching through thousands of county records can now be performed at the click of a button—thanks to the efforts of Nathan and his team,” said Mark Nicks, Product Owner, GovOS. “By making land records available online it not only ensures county information is more accessible to community members, but it also helps preserve these important documents for future generations.”

In addition to delivering results within seconds, GovOS Cloud Search offers an easy-to-use interface that makes searching simple and straightforward while still providing the required functionality to support more advanced searches. All GovOS cloud-based solutions are protected by SSL protocols that are resistant to hacks and ransomware, providing the highest levels of security without compromising on accessibility or functionality.
